The Digital Game Development & Financing Equity Fund invests in Saskatchewan's digital developers, helping them create digital games with commercial potential. All projects developed and designed with support from this equity fund must be made available for sale.
Creative Sask - Market & Export Development Grant
This grant helps cover the cost of marketing your product or your business.
This stream is intended to support larger-scale marketing opportunities.
Applicants may apply for a maximum of $25,000 per applicant per fiscal year (whichever is the lesser); or a maximum of $50,000 per applicant per 24 months (whichever is the lesser). Any funds received through the “Market & Export – Micro Grant” are included in the calculation.
Creative Sask - Market Travel Grant
The grant helps cover the costs of travel expenses to specific market opportunities.
Due to COVID-19 Restrictions - travel must be restricted to within Canada.
Creative Sask - Research Grant
This grant can support your effort to better understand, interpret, and capitalize on market forces affecting your creative sector.
This grant is open to applicants from all creative sectors supported by Creative Saskatchewan.

Western Economic Diversification Canada Program
WD receives an annual allocation for grants and contributions that support a wide range of programs responding to Western Canada's economic development needs and priorities. There are 3 sections of the fund:
-Western Innovation (WINN) Initiative offers repayable contributions for small- and medium-sized enterprises with operations in Western Canada to move their new and innovative technologies from the later stages of research and development to the marketplace.
-The Western Diversification Program (WDP) is the main program through which WD makes strategic investments in initiatives that enhance and strengthen the economy of Western Canada.
-Western Canada Business Service Network is a group of several independent organizations that receive funding from WD to provide a range of services to help create and build small businesses across the West.
Industrial Assistance Research Program (NRC- IRAP)
They provide innovation and funding services customized to your specific needs. Their goal? To help you accelerate the growth of your business through innovation and technology.
Their program helps firms to develop technologies and successfully commercialize them in a global marketplace through advisory services; funding; networking and linkage; and youth employment programs.
Bell Fund
The Bell Fund provides grants to Canadian independent producers who develop and produce engaging, interactive cross-platform digital content for Canadian broadcasters to complement and enhance associated television programs. The Bell Fund has invested in over 1,700 Canadian digital media projects, television programs, development grants, co-productions and support for research and professional development. The Bell Fund also undertakes training, research, business development and promotion for the digital media industry.

Canadian Media Fund-Crowdfunding in Canada
This site is intended to help understand crowdfunding in a Canadian context. It is the continuation of the study "Crowdfunding in a Canadian Context: Exploring the Potential of Crowdfunding in the Creative Content Industries."
