SaskInteractive IDM Industry Profile and Inter-Jurisdictional Research Project-Condensed Version	In January of 2016, SaskInteractive worked with Derek Murray Consulting & Associates to develop a comprehensive industry profile. This was done to gain a comprehensive view of Interactive Digital Media (IDM) in Saskatchewan and across Canada so that SaskInteractive could see the strengths and gaps in Saskatchewan’s IDM industry and where it fits in assisting the industry. Community Futures Saskatchewan	Community Futures has been in the business of encouraging and supporting our communities, our volunteers and our small business owners for more than 25 years. The Wilson Centre	The Wilson Centre is a 4,200 square foot, interactive and lively collaboration space located in the Concourse Building at Innovation place. The centre is a a meeting place for creative thinkers from across different backgrounds and industries. They offer hands-on opportunities to start generating, building and testing new ideas through facilitated learning and work space.
Conexus Business Accelerator	Interested in taking a business course but no time or extra cash? Then take a complementary business course through the Conexus Business Accelerator. The curriculum offers classes such as Strategic Planning, Social Media Training, and Interviewing 101. The courses are delivered in two ways: webinar and face-to-face. This is a fantastic no-cost opportunity for you to enjoy, without having to leave your business. Tax Incentive Programs

Scientific Research and Experimental Development Tax Incentive Program (SR&ED)	Information about the Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) Program, including what you need to know to claim SR&ED tax incentives.
Digital Game Development & Financing Equity Fund Survey	Creative Saskatchewan’s goal for the Digital Consultation and Advisory Committee was to consult with Saskatchewan's interactive digital gaming and e-learning sector and gather recommendations for Creative Saskatchewan's 2022-23 fiscal year program guidelines.

Funding/Financing

Digital Game Development & Financing Equity Program	The Digital Game Development & Financing Equity Fund invests in Saskatchewan's digital developers, helping them create digital games with commercial potential. All projects developed and designed with support from this equity fund must be made available for sale.
Creative Sask - Market & Export Development Grant	This grant helps cover the cost of marketing your product or your business. This stream is intended to support larger-scale marketing opportunities. Applicants may apply for a maximum of $25,000 per applicant per fiscal year (whichever is the lesser); or a maximum of $50,000 per applicant per 24 months (whichever is the lesser). Any funds received through the “Market & Export – Micro Grant” are included in the calculation.
Creative Sask - Market Travel Grant	The grant helps cover the costs of travel expenses to specific market opportunities. Due to COVID-19 Restrictions - travel must be restricted to within Canada.
Creative Sask - Research Grant	This grant can support your effort to better understand, interpret, and capitalize on market forces affecting your creative sector. This grant is open to applicants from all creative sectors supported by Creative Saskatchewan. Deadline for Interactive Digital Media is October 15, 2021, at 4pm.
Creative Sask - Business Capacity Grant	If your Saskatchewan-based business in one of our six creative sectors is up and running and ready to grow, this grant could help you expand, or become more efficient. This grant is open to applicants from all creative sectors supported by Creative Saskatchewan. Deadline for Interactive Digital Media is October 15, 2021, at 4pm.
Creative Saskatchewan	Creative Saskatchewan is a provincial crown agency serving the people of Saskatchewan through work with the creative industries of the province. They offer grant programs for market and export development; business capacity, research, and market travel.
Canadian Media Fund	The Canada Media Fund (CMF) fosters, promotes, develops and finances the production of Canadian content and relevant applications for all audiovisual media platforms. This link takes you directly to the programs and their deadlines.
Western Economic Diversification Canada Program	WD receives an annual allocation for grants and contributions that support a wide range of programs responding to Western Canada's economic development needs and priorities. There are 3 sections of the fund: -Western Innovation (WINN) Initiative offers repayable contributions for small- and medium-sized enterprises with operations in Western Canada to move their new and innovative technologies from the later stages of research and development to the marketplace. -The Western Diversification Program (WDP) is the main program through which WD makes strategic investments in initiatives that enhance and strengthen the economy of Western Canada. -Western Canada Business Service Network is a group of several independent organizations that receive funding from WD to provide a range of services to help create and build small businesses across the West.
Industrial Assistance Research Program (NRC- IRAP)	They provide innovation and funding services customized to your specific needs. Their goal? To help you accelerate the growth of your business through innovation and technology. Their program helps firms to develop technologies and successfully commercialize them in a global marketplace through advisory services; funding; networking and linkage; and youth employment programs.
Bell Fund	The Bell Fund provides grants to Canadian independent producers who develop and produce engaging, interactive cross-platform digital content for Canadian broadcasters to complement and enhance associated television programs. The Bell Fund has invested in over 1,700 Canadian digital media projects, television programs, development grants, co-productions and support for research and professional development. The Bell Fund also undertakes training, research, business development and promotion for the digital media industry.

National Angel Capital Organization	NACO has worked as a not-for-profit organization since 2002 to ensure that Canadian entrepreneurs can access the resources they need to develop and commercialize their innovative companies locally. As the only national industry association for Angel investors in Canada, we represent 41 networks comprised of more than 2800 Angel investors across Canada, who since 2010 have provided Canadian companies with over $400M of direct financing across 995 investments. We support Angels as they help entrepreneurs turn good ideas into great businesses. Our members assist Canadian entrepreneurs in every region and industry to execute their vision and compete on the global stage by providing them with patient risk capital, expert advice and professional networks when traditional financial and other institutions cannot.
Going Global Innovation	What Is Going Global Innovation? Our program gives Canadian innovators up to $75,000 to help commercialize, validate or adapt their technologies. GGI funds may be used to offset a variety of costs you may face when participating in targeted meetings with foreign collaborators.

Essential Facts About the Canadian Video Game Industry	Essential Facts is ESAC’s annual publication which provides important economic, demographic and public opinion data about the Canadian video game industry. It is widely considered the definitive guide to the current landscape of the Canadian industry and is consulted year-round by media, researchers and government decision makers.
OMDC Research Library	OMDC participates in research that supports the development and growth of the cultural media industries. In addition to OMDC-commissioned initiatives, research project funding is provided to industry trade organizations and other stakeholders.
Canadian Media Fund-Crowdfunding in Canada	This site is intended to help understand crowdfunding in a Canadian context. It is the continuation of the study "Crowdfunding in a Canadian Context: Exploring the Potential of Crowdfunding in the Creative Content Industries." As a living resource, it will be updated on a regular basis and provide up to date and relevant data about the industry. Developed by the Canada Media Fund in collaboration with Nordicity, this online resource includes a working definition of crowdfunding as well as a description of the various crowdfunding models in use. The website provides the latest statistics and data available, suggests best practices, presents case studies based on successful campaigns and explains the regulatory framework and legislative base that govern crowdfunding in Canada. Saskatchewan Technology Sector Labour Market and Economic Impact Initiative	The Saskatchewan Technology Sector Labour Market and Economic Impact Initiative (LMEI) was commissioned by SaskInteractive (on behalf of its partners Western Economic Development Canada, Innovation Saskatchewan and Sasktech) engaged Nordicity to prepare a first-ever labour market and economic impact analysis of Saskatchewan’s Tech Sector.

University of Regina	The Department of Computer Science offers programs of study related to computing, information technology and software design and application.
