SaskInteractive, a pioneering organization in the Saskatchewan creative interactive media industry, is on the lookout for a dynamic ED. This full-time, salaried position offers an exciting opportunity to steer the organization toward its strategic goals, fostering innovation and growth within the industry.

Your Role:

Reporting to the board of directors, you will be the driving force behind our organization, working closely with the board of directors to craft and execute a compelling vision and strategic plan. Your leadership will be pivotal in guiding SaskInteractive’s operations, programs, and community relations, ensuring we meet the evolving needs of our members and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the board to develop a vision and strategic direction. Advise on industry trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness. Develop policies, manage assets, and seek opportunities for organizational improvement.
  • Program Management: Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of programs that align with our mission and strategic goals, enhancing the quality and reach of our services.
  • Human Resources: Build a strong team by determining staffing needs, overseeing recruitment, and fostering a positive, productive work environment.
  • Financial Oversight: Manage the organization’s budget, funding efforts, and financial operations in line with our goals and compliance requirements.
  • Community Engagement and Advocacy: Be the face of SaskInteractive, building relationships with key stakeholders and advocating for the industry at all levels.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the organization’s security and compliance with legal standards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven leadership and management experience, ideally within the creative interactive media industry or related fields.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into action.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Financial acumen and experience in budget management and fundraising.
  • Commitment to fostering teamwork and collaboration across all levels of the organization.

Salary: $70,000-$75,000/year plus benefits
