Regina connected game developers, Studio MDHR, who you might recognize for their hit indie game, Cuphead, can now add producers to their title as this week saw the launch of The Cuphead Show! trailer. The show is set to debut on Netflix on February 18, 2022.

Regina born brothers Chad and Jared Moldenhauer were born and raised in Regina and shot to success in 2017 when they released the notoriously difficult run-and-gun video game Cuphead. Part of the charm of Cuphead was the 1930s era cartoon inspired visuals and graphics and now the story will come full circle, as a cartoon based on the game has now been released.

Focusing on the main characters of the game, Cuphead and Mugman, and is described as “a character driven comedy series”. Twelve episodes running at twelve minutes each are set to release on the streaming service.
