City of Regina Call for Jury Members – Community Investment Grant Program

The City of Regina is seeking 10 representatives of our artistic, cultural heritage and cultural industries communities to serve on the Culture Community Investment jury for 2017.

Members of this jury will act as peer evaluators, providing recommendations for the CIGP that funds festivals, exhibitions, performances, as well as other arts and cultural initiatives including capital projects. For more information on program objectives and key priorities visit: Regina.ca/Grants & Social Programs.

Jurors should be capable of providing a critical analysis of art and cultural applications under review. The work involves reading though applications over a number of hours (approximately 20 total) and reaching a collective decision at jury meetings likely to occur in late March and early April 2017.

Selection of the jury aims to cover the widest range of artistic and cultural disciplines, as well as reflect the diversity of the city of Regina. Each member of the jury will receive a modest honorarium.

This exciting and meaningful opportunity allows community members to contribute to the City of Regina’s funding process that serves to enrich and develop our city through art and culture.

Applications for jurors will be received until Friday, February 3, 2017.

To apply, please e-mail a paragraph-length statement of interest and a current resume to:
