Are you a business in the early stage of operation with at least one team leader or owner is female and could use some extra funds for business expenses? Seeds of Dreams could be the opportunity for you!
Who they are
Seeds for Dreams offers small Saskatchewan businesses early stage financial support through a unique pitch & vote event. Each quarter the group hosts a networking event where three businesses pitch to the members who then vote for the pitch they liked best. The company receiving the most votes that evening will receive a $100 cheque from each member to use toward business expenses. Seeds for Dreams provides a source of early stage financing without transfer of equity or debt obligations between the business and the group members.
For Businesses
Every step of the pitch process offers business owners valuable feedback on their business and their attractiveness to investors so regardless of the outcome, all applicants benefit. Seeds for Dreams will ask the winning business to return to the group in 3 months then again in 1 year to share how the money impacted their business.
- Expose your business to potential investors, mentors and customers
- Gain experience promoting your business and asking for investment in a comfortable, positive environment
